This is a 52 inch Wind Gong, hand made in Wuhan China by the top gong makers in that City of Gong. You don' t get to make the large gongs at these workshops unless you have trained and worked for a number of years. The Gong Stand, hand cut, crafted and polished by an artisan in Nebraska, but now based in New Mexico, is made of Silver Maple. It is from a real tree, nothing faux about it. This is a unique one of a kind item that cannot be replicated in any manner. This is an ART GONG.
