A 48 inch Chau Gong, hand forged, polished, and hammered into tune by at least three highly experienced gong artisans - it's too big a gong for just one person to craft it - and hung on a hand crafted solid oak stand, a heavy wood with a slow growth aesthetic that makes you feel, just by standing by it, that nature is an amazing fecund force. This oak, hand picked for its strength and quality, by our woodworking artist Edwin, seen below, was designed with the idea that simplicity, strength, and beauty could all work together.
It is so simple, it only has four pieces, and they all attached with only four screws.
It is so strong, it can hold this 70 pound gong without a problem.
So beautiful, the design melds Asian influences with Western modalities in a seamless embrace that makes you just want to... uh want to... uh... BANG A GONG!
Each of these gong stands is custom made. It can take 2 to 3 weeks to complete once you order. If you are ready to order, please contact us so we can set things up.

We have to ship it via truck. So we can't give you an exact quote on shipping until you tell us your address. Usually it is about 350 to 400 dollars to ship it in the US.
